Furniture in this series is composed of contracted work for various Whole Foods locations on behalf of Thread Collaborative, an Environmental Design studio with offices in Austin, Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Phoenix.
Projects can exceed 500 seats and include various concepts such as bars, casual dining, beer gardens, and customer lounges. The various scopes require multiple designs for chairs, stool, tables, banquettes and other miscellaneous built objects. Budgets for certain pieces can range from $15k to $400 per unit. Through close collaboration with the Thread Collaborative, all pieces are designed to enforce the branding identity, which is unique to every Whole Foods Location.
